After finishing his studies in industrial and organizational psychology, Freek Muller has focused on the optimal fit between individuals and organisations in order to realize their future perspectives. Assessing both the individual and the organization is his natural attitude.
In 1989 he joined Holtrop Ravesloot (Est. 1960) as a consultant, partner in 1995 and in 2005 he became managing partner. At this executive search firm Freek started to work for profit organizations (retail, automotive, energy and insurance) and he developed the non-profit practice (for healthcare, education, cultural and (non)governmental). As an executive search consultant he focused on board positions. He set up Holtrop Ravesloot Governance, to professionalize supervisory boards, especially in non-profit organizations.
