Henk is an all-round businessman and coach who received his initial management experience during nearly 20 years in Shell. His professional background is in both Finance and Human Resources, followed by several years in general management. He added to his management experience as an associate with Boer & Croon Executive Managers from 1996 to 2002. The next nearly five years he headed up an asset management company (45 billion of AuM): a good mix to combine his financial and HR experience.
He now has fifteen years of experience in non-executive Board roles. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of ING Group for 12 years, was Chair NED at NSI (listed real estate) and at The University of InHolland, both for some six years. He currently is Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the The Hague Symphony Orchestra and of Brink Groep and he sits on the Board of the Kunstmuseum in the Hague.
Henk’s knowledge of and experience with Motives dates back to 1990. He has coached a wide variety of senior clients from many different countries across the globe. From time to time he coaches younger entrepreneurs.
